1. Who We Are
The Grind Grimoire is operated by Senda Lógica. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at support@sendalogica.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following data when you use The Grind Grimoire:
- Account information: email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
- Character data: character name, class, stats, equipment, and progression
- Quest data: quest titles, descriptions, categories, completion history, and schedules
- Profile questionnaire: optional responses about your goals, habits, and preferences (used to personalize AI suggestions)
- Usage data: page views and performance metrics (via Vercel Analytics — no personal identifiers)
- Activity log: a record of what you do in the app, stored in our own database and linked to your account — completing a quest (its category, difficulty tier, and the rewards it earned), defeating a boss, clearing a dungeon floor, forging an item, and signing in. It does not include any text you write.
- Device information: timezone offset (used to display dates correctly in your local time)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the app (quests, bosses, progression, etc.)
- To personalize AI-generated content (quest valuations, suggestions, narrator text)
- To compute your stats, streaks, and weekly summaries
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- To measure how the app is used while it is in closed testing — how often people return, and which parts of the app they use
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate the app:
- Supabase — database hosting and user authentication (your data, including the activity log described above, is stored in their secure cloud infrastructure)
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — quest valuation, narrator text, and quest suggestions. Quest titles and descriptions are sent to Anthropic’s API for evaluation. Anthropic does not use this data to train models.
- Vercel — app hosting, anonymous analytics, and performance monitoring
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account), all your data is permanently removed from our database, including your character, quests, equipment, homestead, and authentication credentials. This action is irreversible.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies only:
- Authentication cookies — managed by Supabase to keep you signed in
- Timezone cookie — stores your timezone offset so the app shows correct dates
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — visible throughout the app (character, quests, chronicle). The activity log described above is not shown in the app; email us to request a copy.
- Correct your data — edit your character name, profile, and quests at any time
- Delete your data — permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Export your data — contact us at support@sendalogica.com to request a data export
8. Age Requirements
The Grind Grimoire is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords, row-level security policies on all database tables, server-side authentication checks, and rate limiting on all API endpoints. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
