1. Who We Are
The Grind Grimoire is operated by Senda Lógica. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at support@sendalogica.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following data when you use The Grind Grimoire:
- Account information: email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
- Character data: character name, class, stats, equipment, and progression
- Quest data: quest titles, descriptions, categories, completion history, and schedules
- Profile questionnaire: optional responses about your goals, habits, and preferences (used to personalize AI suggestions)
- Usage data: page views and performance metrics (via Vercel Analytics — no personal identifiers)
- Activity log: a record of what you do in the app, stored in our own database and linked to your account — completing a quest (its category, difficulty tier, and the rewards it earned), defeating a boss, clearing a dungeon floor, forging an item, signing in, and the days you open the app. It also records your first steps in the app: naming your Keeper, turning the Promise, and which profile questions you went through (but not your answers), and when your Preface is written or edited. It does not include any text you write.
- The Grimoire's Notes: notes the Grimoire writes from your completed quests — when they were finished, which Discipline they belong to, how often a Ritual was kept. They are written from your record alone, without AI. When you ask the Counsel for quests, it reads them too. You can remove any of them.
- Device information: timezone offset (used to display dates correctly in your local time)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the app (quests, bosses, progression, etc.)
- To personalize AI-generated content (quest valuations, suggestions, campaigns, the Counsel, narrator text)
- To compute your stats, streaks, and weekly summaries
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- To measure how the app is used while it is in closed testing — how often people return, and which parts of the app they use
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate the app:
- Supabase — database hosting and user authentication (your data, including the activity log described above, is stored in their secure cloud infrastructure)
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — quest valuation, narrator text, quest and campaign suggestions, and the Grimoire’s Counsel. To do this, we send Anthropic’s API your quest titles and descriptions, your profile questionnaire answers, the Preface written from them (and your own edits to it), the notes the Grimoire writes from your completed quests, and the words you write to the Counsel or when inscribing a campaign. Anthropic does not use this data to train models.
- Vercel — app hosting, anonymous analytics, and performance monitoring
- Resend — delivers the app’s account emails (confirming your address and resetting your password). It receives your email address for that purpose only.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active.
To delete your account in The Grind Grimoire: open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, and confirm. You can also email support@sendalogica.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
What is deleted: your sign-in credentials and email address, your character, quests and Rituals, your profile answers and Preface, the Grimoire’s Notes, your activity log, equipment, homestead, campaigns, letters addressed to you, and everything else linked to your account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What is kept: technical error records, with the link to your account removed so they no longer identify you; anonymous usage statistics from Vercel Analytics, which never contained personal identifiers; and routine backups held by our database provider, which may keep a copy for a limited time until they are overwritten. Text already sent to Anthropic to generate content is handled under Anthropic’s own retention policy and is not used to train its models.
To delete some data without deleting your account: clearing an answer in Settings removes it. Quests, Rituals and Grimoire Notes can be removed from your pages in the app; to have them, your activity log, or any other data erased from our database, email support@sendalogica.com and tell us what to remove.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies only:
- Authentication cookies — managed by Supabase to keep you signed in
- Timezone cookie — stores your timezone offset so the app shows correct dates
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — visible throughout the app (character, quests, chronicle). The activity log described above is not shown in the app; email us to request a copy.
- Correct your data — edit your character name, profile, and quests at any time
- Delete your data — permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings (see section 5)
- Export your data — contact us at support@sendalogica.com to request a data export
8. Age Requirements
The Grind Grimoire is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords, row-level security policies on all database tables, server-side authentication checks, and rate limiting on all API endpoints. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
